Over the years, WestJet has expanded its service extensively. WestJet is known for its quality customer experience and service. this making people satisfied with their investment. Moreover on  June 24, 2013, a subsidiary regional airline of the WestJet named WestJet Encore commenced its operations .

Together WestJet and WestJet encore fly to a varied 89 destinations spread across 20 countries. The airline's main connection in Eastern Canada is the Toronto Pearson International Airport which is WestJet's largest hub in terms of daily departures. Most of the Canadian flights are provided to Las Vegas and Orlando making it the largest international carrier by volume of passengers flying to Las Vegas since 2008.

WestJet has been extensively engaged in codeshare agreement with a large number of airlines which include Air France, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, KLM and Korean Air.

The WestJet air-crafts are white in color except for the fuselage, wings and vertical stabilizer.Also, in 2013 it introduced a plane featuring Mickey Mouse from the movie "Fantasia", which is now known as the "Magic Plane". This was done due to the partnership with Disney.
